Municipality of Khuzestanbijar was established on December 2, 1340, by the order of the governor of Gilan, Dr. Babak. Since the establishment of the city until the year 1374, the city of Khuzestan has been subordinated to the Khomam section, which was headed by the Khomam and Khabarjbar division.
